Since 1968, Aurora Aviation and Aurora Flight Training have been providing flight students in the greater Portland area with exceptional flight training and aircraft rental services. Located in the beautiful Willamette river basin, about 20 miles south of downtown Portland, Oregon, Aurora Flight Training is home to some of the most experienced and passionate flight instructors in the business. . In early 2016, Aurora Flight Training joined forces with American Flight Schools and is now a proud member of the American Flight School family. Members of Aurora Flight Training now have access to six airport locations and over one hundres aircraft for training or rental. Whether you’re taking an introductory flight or making your way through our Commercial course, you can expect training that caters to your specific financial needs, schedule, and learning style.
