I am an independent Flight Instructor (CFI; CFII & MEI). As an independent instructor I work for you; not a flight school; I have only your best interest in mind! I am retired and I’m not looking to build hours as a CFI in order to work my way through the aviation industry. I am a flight instructor because flying is a passion of mine! I am available to come to you or meet somewhere in the middle; I am based in the west metro area of Phoenix. I have a wide range of experience including building and flying experimental aircraft; technically advanced aircraft; instrument flying/instruction; tail wheel; ski flying; high performance; complex and so forth. I’m interested in helping with just about anything; including primary; instrument flight training; simulator based training; Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC); Flight Review or any other services needed to make you a safer pilot.
