About

James Weisberg holds an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and is a Certified Flight Instructor for single and multi-engine airplanes and for the Instrument Rating (CFI-A; CFI-I and CFI-ME (multi-engine). As a part-time faculty member of the UAB School of Medicine; he understands and appreciates the balancing act of career and flying. James received his private pilot certificate over 30 years ago as a high-school senior followed by his Instrument Rating and Commercial Certificate about 10 years later. He earned his CFI and multi-engine ratings in 2000; achieving a life-long goal of turning a hobby into part-time career. James combines his expertise in human behavior with a focus on ADM (Aeronautical Decision Making) and pilot judgment. He has done spin and upset training with the late William K. Kershner (AKA the Spin Doctor). His most rewarding aviation experiences include working as a Red Cross volunteer with United Airlines flight crews at JFK immediately following the 9-11 at
