I am a Gold Seal Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) – Airplane; Advanced Ground Instructor; Instrument Ground Instructor; and FAA Team Safety (FAAST) Representative. I hold an FAA Commercial pilot certification (SEL/MEL/SES) + Instrument rating as well as a SUAS Pilot Certificate. I work as both a contract CFI at Snohomish Flying Service in Snohomish; Washington and as an independent CFI for outside customers where contract stipulations allow. Prior to coming to Snohomish Flying Service (SFS); I had been flying recreationally for 30+ years. Over that period; I obtained various certificates and ratings; but over time; realized that I wanted to combine my love of flying with my passion for education/training and pass on the gift of flight to others.
